CARBERRY TOWER WEDDINGS

What do I love most about filming weddings at Carberry Tower, I hear you ask? Is it the fact that I live only ten minutes away in Musselburgh so it is easy for me to get to? NO! That would be a selfish reason! What I do love is the historic grounds and amazing building - all of which are open to wedding guests to explore. I often walk my dog around the magical Carberry Hill - there is something special and timeless about the woods - and a little-known fact is that Carberry Hill is the place where Mary, Queen of Scots surrendered - there is a monument to mark the spot. I find this interesting as everywhere you go in Scotland, there are references to this famous Scottish icon, but for some reason, the site for this momentous occasion is very low-key!

Nestled in the picturesque Scottish countryside, Carberry Tower stands as an ideal venue for wedding videographers seeking stunning backdrops and a rich historical ambiance. Beyond its architectural grandeur, Carberry Tower boasts sprawling gardens, picturesque courtyards, and enchanting woodland trails, offering diverse settings for creative filming. Whether amidst fragrant blooms in the rose garden or beneath ancient trees.

The staff at Carberry are always really lovely to me - I always get well-fed and looked after - which from a selfish/greedy point of view is a big plus!

Ultimately, Carberry Tower isn't just a venue—it's a muse that inspires wedding videographers to craft compelling narratives and preserve precious memories for years to come. Its combination of historical charm and natural beauty makes it a standout choice for couples seeking an unforgettable wedding experience, and for videographers seeking the perfect canvas for their artistry.

Here is my latest highlights film from this amazing place.
