My name is Joe Carter and I am an Edinburgh-based BAFTA-nominated film-maker living with my partner and my little girl in Musselburgh, East lothian!

We have 2 ragdoll cats and and a border collie called Pip who is mental but beautiful - like all the good things in life! I spend most of my time filming and editing weddings, walking the dog, hoovering up animal hair every 3 minutes and telling my 11 year old daughter to get off tiktok every 2 minutes!

I also do some moonlighting on the side where I write and direct comedy sitcoms and short films.

I am a camera geek and cinephile so love having the opportunity to film great footage for wedding days as well as dramatic short films that I shoot between weddings. I have been making films for about 15 years and I’m ninja-like in my ability to film in a documentary style without being spotted!

I am laidback, freindly and love meeting new people - especially at weddings where everyone is happy and chatty and up for a good time!

I get an enormous sense of pride filming weddings - the best part being the responses I get from lcients when I delvier their films.
