Hello! I’m Joe, an Edinburgh wedding videographer creating cinematic wedding films for couples across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and throughout Scotland. From iconic Edinburgh venues like the Signet Library and Carlowrie Castle to romantic castle weddings in the Scottish Highlands, I capture every moment in a natural, cinematic style. As a BAFTA-nominated filmmaker, I craft films that feel personal, emotional, and beautifully timeless.
I’m easy-going and calm in a crisis, ensuring that you and your loved ones feel completely at ease and free to enjoy every moment. I NEVER get you to pose. I won’t ask you to put your watch on over and over from different angles, or recreate moments that have already happened. Everything you see in my wedding films is filmed candidly, exactly as your day unfolds — real moments, real emotion, beautifully captured.
As someone who hates having his photo taken, I completely understand how it feels to be in front of the camera. My approach is to put as little pressure on you as possible, allowing you to relax, be yourselves, and stay present while I quietly capture everything naturally.

When I’m not filming weddings, I embrace life as a dad and proud owner of a lively Border Collie and two very lazy Ragdoll cats. These personal experiences constantly remind me of the importance of family and friends — and how all the special people at your wedding deserve to be beautifully documented.
