The thing I love about Glencorse House is that you’ve got the kirk, the house and the grounds all in one place. It gives the day a nice, relaxed feel, and there’s loads to work with when I’m filming. If you’re thinking of getting married here, have a look at Millie and Rob’s film below.

Glencorse Old Kirk: the Outlander wedding location

And if you’re an Outlander fan, you’ll recognise Glencorse Old Kirk. It’s where Jamie and Claire got married in season one. Quite a good claim to fame for your wedding venue!

What I love about the kirk is the character of the place. It looks great on film, whether you’re an Outlander fan or not.

Out in the grounds

The grounds are great for a quick wander with the two of you. I like getting a few shots by the lake and around the house, without keeping you away from everyone for ages.

On to the celebrations

I love filming this part of the day. The formal bits are done, everyone’s relaxing and you can get on with enjoying yourselves. That’s when I get some of my favourite footage.
